NGSS Storylines For Online Distance Learning

We can all agree this emergency remote learning situation isn’t ideal. It’s not ideal in a typical science classroom, and it certainly is making three dimensional, NGSS-aligned instruction particularly challenging. Phenomena, Science and Engineering Practices, discovery and meaning-making, all of these things can be particularly difficult to implement in online settings. But it IS NOT impossible.

You CAN do it.

In the video training below – which was originally hosted inside our NGSS For Middle and High School Science Teachers Facebook Group – I’m going to share how you can continue creating simple storylines built on phenomena to engage your students in NGSS-style learning even in these unexpected circumstances.
