“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule but to schedule your priorities.” Our Joy List can only work for us if we find a way to work it into our schedule. I know — that can be easier said than done. But it isn’t impossible — we can all find ways to schedule self-care and therefore experience more joy, rest, relaxation, and gratitude when we make the choice to prioritize it.
In this episode, I share a few reflections to help you figure out how to integrate your Joy List into your schedule — whether you’re a “plan it all out” type of person or you need a more freewheeling, flexible schedule >> listen in to explore some options.
If you have trouble settling into your school breaks, vacations, or even off-time hours, you might be in the same boat as me. The Summer Joy Experiment is my exploration into easing the transition from work hours to free time hours and intentionally integrating more self-care into my schedule. Discover the “last step” in my experiment in this episode!
